Tatum von Fintel is a learning and curriculum designer with experience in teaching, content development, and learning design in South African classrooms. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and has worked directly with learners in communities such as Wesbank and Eersterivier, where she supported teaching and learning through data-informed instruction, assessment design, learner support coordination, and Moodle-based content development. This classroom experience strongly informs her approach to designing structured, practical, and accessible learning materials.

She is particularly interested in how well-structured systems and high-quality materials can strengthen mathematics teaching and learning, and moved into curriculum design and content development to support this work at scale.

As Mathematics Script Writer and Coordinator, Tatum leads curriculum mapping, scriptwriting, and quality assurance of mathematics content. She manages and coordinates teams of scriptwriters, reviewers, teachers, and video editors, and oversees the full production pipeline, from lesson planning and filming schedules through to post-production feedback, ensuring that all materials are both pedagogically sound and production-ready.
