Ryk van Velden has served on the board of Thuma Mina Teaching since its inception in 2020 and, since 2024, as its chairperson. TMT benefits greatly from Ryk’s steady leadership and his more than 15 years of board experience.

Throughout his career as a pastor, Ryk served on several boards of faith-based organisations, where he helped bring structure, compliance, and accountability.
